Rosemary Chaulk's new book, Nissitissit Witch, a novel loosely based on local Massachusetts legend will soon appear on the library shelves of Northeastern University. The book weaves together legendary tales of a "witch" in Pepperell, Mass. whose ability to see the health problems the dumping of chemical waste would cause the citizens was feared, shunned and killed by townsfolk when her predications came true.
